Welcome to
Serras Gerais!
An undiscovered paradise, originally inhabited by Indigenous peoples, has over the centuries been the backdrop for bandeirante expeditions in search of gold and precious stones, leaving deep marks on its culture, such as the Portuguese filigree art.
The region is home to ancient farms and Quilombola communities that keep their traditions and ways of life alive.
Serras Gerais form the largest mosaic of Brazilian plateaus and include the most historic cities in Tocantins.
Why is it special?
Where the Cerrado and Amazon biomes meet
Lagoons and beaches with stunning water and pleasant temperatures
Canyons, waterfalls and lesser-explored locations
SERRAS GERAIS
EXPEDITION
A selection of tours and experiences featuring what we consider essential. The goal is to ensure that the experience at the destination embodies the true "traveler" style—people who are interested in history, art, culture, rhythms, flavors, landscapes, and people.
